In the world of sports, coaches are held in a high regard as they are the one's that are acknowledged for a winning season or can be blamed for mediocre results.  In our daily lives, we assume this role for our children, friends, family or peers who may need some guidance and encouragement.  I am a firm believer that if you have over come something, that you need to share your knowledge with those that may need your assistance, as we become part of the natural balance when this occurs.  A coach can be firm and goal oriented, while allowing a player to reach the intended target with their own talent and skill.  I think the role can be interchangeable in that we can all use a coach at any given time and we can also lend our talents to coach others.  Some of the best coaches in history focused on leading with little fanfare and fostering talent to become great.  We can all learn a lot from this method of leadership and I encourage you to continue to coach when needed while allowing yourself to grow in the process.
